Hi, my name is Liv. This site shares my academic path and goals for college.

I come from a close, blended family that has strongly shaped my values, sense of responsibility, and appreciation for meaningful relationships. I became an aunt at the age of 11 and again at 13, experiences that helped me grow up early and develop empathy, patience, and maturity. I am very close with my siblings and family, and family remains one of my greatest priorities.
I am intentional about how I spend my time and the relationships I invest in, valuing authenticity, integrity, and balance. These values guide my decisions and motivate me to grow academically, personally, and as a leader.

I maintain a 3.7 GPA and challenge myself through Advanced Placement coursework. Balancing academics alongside extracurricular involvement and part-time work has strengthened my discipline, time management, and commitment to learning.
I approach my education with curiosity and dedication, viewing school as both an academic foundation and preparation for future growth and responsibility.

Leadership has been a central part of my high school experience across creative, academic, and civic spaces. I am a Section Leader in Chamber Choir and have held lead roles in school musicals, including Mamma Mia and Guys & Dolls. These roles require preparation, accountability, collaboration, and supporting others in high-expectation environments.
In addition to the arts, I am involved in Student Government, where I contribute to school initiatives and represent student perspectives. I am also a member of the STEM Club, which allows me to engage in problem-solving, collaboration, and academic exploration alongside peers.
For the past two years, I have worked 20–25 hours per week as a hostess and food runner at a local restaurant. Balancing steady employment with academics and extracurricular activities has strengthened my reliability, communication skills, and sense of responsibility.
Working in a fast-paced environment has helped me develop professionalism, teamwork, and strong time-management skills, all of which I carry into other areas of my life.

As I look ahead to college, I am excited to continue growing academically, personally, and as a leader. I am motivated to pursue opportunities that align with my interests, strengths, and values.
I plan to pursue a degree in Public Relations at the University of Alabama, with a focus on social media and advertising. I am drawn to the intersection of creativity and strategy and hope to strengthen my skills in content creation, digital campaigns, and brand storytelling.
Beyond academics, I plan to become actively involved on campus and am particularly interested in joining a sorority with a meaningful mission that reflects my commitment to connection, integrity, and purposeful involvement.
